I think there are a few wild plans being thrown around, but really doubt any sort of manufacturing would start. As an example, there are hundreds of large hardware stores from a failed company called “masters” that have been sitting empty for around a year now. so much waste when real estate here is through the roof

Might make a fantastic place for Mr. Musk “Our lord and saviour” to build a new gigafactory. Would be nice to not lose those largely reliable employees that you had at the Holden plant right?
Didn’t Ford also shut down manufacturing there a few years ago?
