Winter is good because my dog likes to hang out close to me, ok it’s for warmth but it’s more cozy and makes me feel like he likes me more. He’s like a teenager at the dog park, oh god he’s waving at me again. ..

I kinda want winter to come soon, because snow drifts. But at the same time, the last few years have been way too mild to be more then 1cm of slop that’s instantly melted by all the roadsalt and just a cold, grey, muddy winter rather then a proper white wonderland :(

We had a winter this proper back in 2010. yes that’s a Patrol on sea ice some 10m off the shoreline. We raced the quad on the ice that year too :D

I live on Lake Superior but on a bay that freezes every winter even a warm one like last year. There’s an ice racing club that cuts out an oval every year and keeps it plowed. It’s pretty fun, I just wish they made more of a road coarse or at leadt a figure 8.
