So long, original Honda hood latch. You’ve served with distinction , or at least with effect, since 1988. Through 132k of daily driving, 10 or so autcross seasons (including that National Tour win in Colorado, remember that?), so many track days, all those race weekends, and even that unfortunate crash at Second Creek Raceway, you kept your stuff together. In fact, it would indeed be fair to say you’ve held fast, but like so many things in this world, you’ve been replaced by a shiny (and lighter) model. Go with Godspeed to that hood paradise in the sky!
