Boy broke his glasses playing soccer at lunch.

I wish you could’ve seen his grin when I handed him his glasses with the arm reattached. Priceless.

Mr. Fixit. I remember a similar repair to a pair of sunglasses at OBX.

But your van window was the business. Eyeglass repair is one of my favorite things because nobody does it well.

That’s why I always carry a spare pair in my trumpet case. I’ve never needed it, but it’s good to know it’s there.

Well done. I currently have a nice pair of sunglasses with a lens off because the stupid tiny nuts fell off. I’m debating whether to take it to a repair place and pay $10 or try to guess the size screws to buy on eBay and fix it myself.

Don’t underestimate what a piece of paper clip can do for a pair of eyeglasses.
And thanks.

Yeah, and if those screws weren’t directly holding the plastic lenses to the frame holes, I’d have more options.
And you’re welcome.

As a glasses wearer myself, heres a small tip for the future. Nail polish works pretty good as a thread locker.
