EAG likes to inflate the market on everything. Meanwhile their 8k mile, $95k E39 M5 sits outside. (They are down the street from me)

I have to wonder if that 8k mile M5 is the same one a local shop had near me for a while. It was kept in their tiny showroom (obviously) and they had it listed around $60k which I thought was crazy but it did sell. So WTF. I mean, there are probably a few low-mileage M5's around, but this one even came from New England, so...

That said, I can’t stand EAG and their insane pricing.

Not the same but I visited my local dodge dealer and they had 13-14 hellcats.. I was like what the hell?

EAG’s strategy appears to be to buy as many of the clean examples out there as possible, and then price them astronomically, in an attempt to control the market and drive up prices. So far, what mostly happens is that their cars sit in their inventory while sane buyers keep an eye out for other examples to pop up elsewhere.

Trying to corner the market...

Well, they must sell enough to make it worth it. If you make as much on one car as others do on 3 or 4 (or more), you can afford to hold the line.

They’ve been cornering the market for years now. Someone must be buying cars from them or they would of folded already.

They also have 10 1Ms (out of 740 in the U.S.).

I work down in Reading, just south of GE. I’ve got a current gen gray 4Runner (probably the only one running around in an SR5 with a TRD Pro grill and wheels), and a gray AP1 S2000,
