We went to a pumpkin festival at Rodger Williams Zoo in R.I. I was amazed at the quantity and quality of the carvings.

This pumpkin was about 7' tall. (purple) It is easily the largest pumpkin I’ve even seen in person.

I’m lucky if I can get two eyes, a nose and a mouth carved into our pumpkin.

A local art museum used to have a “pumpkin glow” every year on a hill behind the museum. It was quite a sight. Most years they would have over 1000 pumpkins ranging from amazing pieces of art to what looked like someone used spade bits to make eyes and a mouth. Sadly, I think it was cancelled this year because neighbors complained about the traffic it caused.
