Fuel cells are too dangerous for street use. Civilians shouldn’t be able to get there hands on anything more dangerous than a, safer named, fuel tank.

The last hour of that Talladega race was brutal.

I’m not referring to vehicular carnage. It was just boring and painful to watch. Like the closing minutes of an NBA playoff game were it seems like somebody is perpetually at the free throw line.

I noticed during the last wreck (possibly at other times too) it seemed like everyone in attendance was on their feet cheering. For what? Another red flag followed by 30 minutes of cleanup followed by pace laps and finally 3 more laps of racing?

This is not meant as a knock against the talent of the drivers or the preparation by the teams that goes into the vehicles. No doubt these guys are talented professionals. It’s just the whole format is so boring and useless.
