Veel dank Nederland, je gaf ons de coolste auto die er is (de DAF 750), en de slechtste auto is er (de mitsubishi Carisma / Volvo S40).
Beide zijn uniek, maar gecombineerd bewijzen zij dat Nederland geen auto’s moet maken. Nou .. je hebt Spyker.

That’s actually very impressive, for somebody not speaking Dutch. The sentences are different than how I would say them, but are not grammatically incorrect. Only mistake is “”de slechtste auto is er”, that should just be “de slechtste auto die er is”.

I might want to get rid of a base Peugeot 205 soon, from 1986 so 31 years old. No rear wiper, no clock, manual choke, the old 1970s Peugeot 104 engine. 749 kg on the paperwork. Sounds absolutely perfect for your wife.

I’ll keep that in mind. I’ve been trying to learn some dutch on and off for a few years. A friend of mine was born and raised in Ghent, but lives in Norway now, whenever his brother visits him we go out for drinks.. and the more beers they drink the more Flemish they speak :P
