I don’t live in Savannah but my girlfriend is from there and we visited there over the summer. This was the first time I drove an e90 335i (her dads) and I parked it in front of that park several times. Before we left, her dad was driving it down river street and the transmission grenaded, totaling the car.

Wow just mapped that. Hour plus drive. I actually kind of like a 30 minute commute so I can decompress after work and listen to podcasts, but if I were to live further from work I’d want to live closer to ATL...but houses get considerably more expensive the closer you get.
This will be a whole new world for me, actually settling down. Been in the army and lived in 5 different states and 2 countries in the past 7 years.

I get the ability to detour north if I want. There’s lots of decent roads on the way home.
This was pretty much necessary since my job was closer, but they are run by fools and laid off 106 people in May. New job is further away, but since it’s just a contract, I’m not going to move just for that.
