One of them is the muffler pedal. I know what you’re thinking: instead of making cars autonomous, we should be making them even more complicated to control.
Additionally, this car had four hand controls, two levers on the side (gearbox and hand brakes, I believe) and a hand throttle and spark advance on the column.

I just got a bright new idea. This car has a muffler pedal. Your earlier link had chicken whistles in an exhaust system. Combine these and you have a pedal actuated screaming chicken exhaust!

What’s the point of the muffler pedal? Was there a legit reason for it, or was it that even back then did people liked loud exhausts for the BRAP BRAP?

Yeah, it’s a pedal operated exhaust cutout, for extra power when driving out of town.
