It’s been gently snowing ash in the East Bay for 2 days and the Lancer is getting a pretty solid coating. Should I be washing frequently to avoid this screwing up my paint? It’s not hot ash, just the stuff blowing around the Bay Area.

It’s harmless, just rinse off with water.

A timing belt job, replace the horn, and see where the hell that differential leak is coming from.
Thanks for offering!

yep - don’t brush is off, rinse it off with water. We had a bunch of ash earlier this year up here from our fires...

We had a month of this shit in Montana, every single day my car was covered in ash. It really sucked.

if you still have ash, use compressed air first to get the bulk, then rince off whats left.
