I’m somewhat obsessed with this car this week. I don’t know why. maybe I want a quiver full of kids to tow around?
Maybe because I can get a fully loaded platinum AWD w/ captains chairs and the link for like 46k new out the door?

They should of called it the Patrol over here too.
That and offer it with real off road goodies like other parts of the world.
Personally I find it looks way better than the Infiniti version of it.

I’ve driven a few. The reason they call it Armada is because it’s the size of a small fleet of ships.
On that note, I’ve noticed a lot of M-B GLKs around. Maybe it’s because there’s one in the shop for a sunroof today...

I got the Infiniti version as a rental last year. We were upgraded from a midsize SUV to a fullsize. I put a lot of highway miles on it over the span of a few days.
The mileage is turrible, but aside from that it’s fantastic. Super comfy, quiet, tons of comfort and space and it’s very quick. And yeah, the Nissan version is definitely a bargain.

I heard that engine can hustle the car in a way that no car that size should move.

The fender vents are factory cutouts for a snorkel. Symmetrical for looks, but they do actually have a function.

I’m a big fan of them, but I’m hoping they release a Pro-4x version with the locker and other goodies. They already offer the locker on the Xterra, Frontier, and Titans, so they’re willing to do it.
