Kinja'd!!!

Oh how I hate automatics

I’ts a good little car, quality ride and interior, EXCEPT the top of the dashboard is so shiny it was blinding me as all sun rays available went straight into my eyes

Shinyyy

Kinja'd!!!

And the part of the door that I normally put my elbow on is really hard plastic.

Kinja'd!!!

Give it to me with 3 pedals, please. It’s available in the base model.

You know what this car would benefit from? A SX with the 1.6 turbo from Hyundai/Kia, and a 6 speed manual and dual-clutch.

C’mon Kia, the Fiesta ST is going away, take that market. Price it 2k less than the Elantra Sport and you have a winner.

I could see the next Accent/i20 getting an N trim competing with the outgoing FiST and the upcoming FiST in Europe.

I feel like this Rio is a step back, I find it uglier, has a worse interior and less hp than the outgoing model.

Actually I feel like the entire new generation of Hyundai/Kia products are a step back in terms of design, it’s like they showed the world they could do things right and now they are just cutting cost and selling because of reputation, kinda like Toyota in the late 2000's.

Well if you were to beleive internet commenters on the Kia Stinger, they still have a long way in terms of reputation!

I think in 2010-2011 they came out with all those new designs that were actually cohesive for the first time. Then they just updated them since then. So I think it’s normal that the steps aren’t that big. I sat in a base 2017 Optima, and it’s not that different from my 2013.
