With the recent hurricanes, fires, iphone lauches, and McD’s shortages of Szechuan Sauce, we’re reminded that disaster can be just around the corner. New reports are showing that the Yellowstone Volcano is going to blow up and wipe everything out. What have you done to prepare for the next one?
On a scale of “meh” to “I have a bunker and you’re not invited to it”, where do you stand?

I have a bug out bag and some minor food/water stores, not enough to last more than a couple weeks, and nothing compared to full on prepers. I do have a decent amount of experience surviving on my own in the wilderness though, so I think I could scrape by as long as we’re not talking about the surface world being completely uninhabitable.

Nuclear apocalypse we are all dead anyway, Biological weapon apocalypse requires too much prep. Mostly natural disasters are the business. At that point, you just need food and water. My house is high enough on our hill that even a super-tsunami would only make us beach front property. Maybe a heat source for a blizzard. Any of this doomsday prep is just ridiculous, the only disaster would be WROL (without rule of law) at which point I have guns so... looks like I’m good.

Yellowstone’s not going anywhere. NASA says the reports of immediate doom are greatly exaggerated. I have 72 hours of everything for sure, beyond that I probably have 2 weeks of food

I have enough fuel for my generator, a welder and enough metal laying around and carbed engines to do the whole Mad Max thing to the cars in the driveway. I’ll just use that to get what I need. Maybe not enough amplifiers, but all you need is a good sharp boomerang and technique apparently.
I have nuke pills. Those were just for effect, but generally I think skills and the right attitude would get people through anything that is actually survivable. The right attitude being shedding your values and accepting cannibalism when needed.

I have three functional 4x4 vehicles (and one more on its way there) with reasonable tires, and the know-how to construct an ethanol still if need be. I’ll be fine.
