Question for everyone - what are the revised warranty terms/conditions for the 2015 VW TDI (Gen. 3 2.0L engines) following the CARB approved fixes? Are they emissions only, full powertrain, or bumper-to-bumper?
I will be in the market for a car in about 9 months, and the 2015 VW Golf/Sportwagen TDI would be a good fit depending on warranty coverage.

I think it’s 5 years 60k from the first fix and then another 5 year 60k after the second fix or 11 years 112k whichever is longer. Actual numbers may be slightly different but that’s about right
Covers any part of the car that even touches on emissions including turbo, valvetrain, all emissions equipment, tons of sensors, etc. I think it includes just about everything that’s really pricey except for the transmission.
I just got one a few months ago and the warranty made me much more confident about my purchase.

Hello there! if I bought a lower mileage 2015 tdi, from say a Ford dealership...would the same warranty still apply?

Good question! I would also like to know this. Anyone have any knowledge/experience with this?
