It’s grossly misleading to say he got the car for $115. He got the car for... whatever it’s worth these days. He made an extremely lucky and lucrative investment in 2011 and cashed some of it out, specifically, an amount that represented $115 worth of bitcoin in 2011.

Yeah, only this guy basically did it once; he bought an unobtanium paper clip in 2011 before most people knew it was unobtanium. Traded part of the paper clip for the car. Still. He could have had six figures of US dollars, but he chose a car.
