A husband and wife at my sons school both had last gen B7's (one flourescent green, one bright orange). I saw her in carpool last week and she now has a brand new purple one.

I’ve seen 4 or 5, never fail to leave me breathless. They’re gorgeous, so subtle but so powerful and imposing.
As an aside, the reason I’ve seen so many is that the BMW dealer back home is one of the largest Alpina dealers in the US. I’ve got a few friends there who tell me when they get new ones in and I can’t say no when they’re only 15 minutes away.

Couldn’t get a picture (I was trying to impress some potential bosses who are not at all car people), but I saw an Alpina B7 parked two spots away from an Alpina B6 in an office parking lot the other day. Not sure exactly how rare the B6 is, but it was the first time I’d seen one in the wild. Two crazy pretty cars.
