So a colleague came back from house hunting in Spain and Portugal and brought back a bottle of wine for me.
It was really nice of her to do so but the thing is, we work nights in a supermarket.
She brought a bottle of wine 1,500+ miles from Spain, that we sell in our store.
It’s an okay wine. It’s free, so there is that.

I brought a bunch of bottles 2,500 miles back from San Francisco last year (which I purchased at a chain called World Market), then I found that our own World Market started carrying them as soon as we got back. What can I say, we buy lazy souvenirs. And we overestimate the lack of diversity in store location around the US.

She’s not much of a wine person in that she likes wine, but couldn’t pick a bottle or know what to look for.
I sometimes go out for a meal with her and some female colleagues and ex-colleagues who are all in their 50s+. It’s a nice casual get together to enjoy some great company, with good food and good drink. I always pick the wine, I always wait to be asked but they always say, ‘you pick the wine Sven, you always pick the nicest wine’. Which I quite like.

If we do I don’t want to know about it. Urgghhh.
Just looked, it appears we may sell it at our store, but it sounds so wrong.

Dude it is so good. In America we even have cheesy popcorn with chocolate on it. It’s insanely good.

No offence but would you mind if I didn’t believe you?
