6 miles on October 10, 2015 to 20,900 miles on October 10, 2017. The only changes are a few rock chips and scratches here and there, tinted windows, and a car seat and sunshade for my son. #dadcar yo
I spent 3 hours washing and waxing it yesterday to celebrate the anniversary. And that I had Columbus Day off from work.
I still love it. It’s been a great car and continues to be. Averaging 27 MPG (my commute is ALL stop-and-go city driving).

Nice, I’ve had 2 years with the S3 in August. The 2 year mark is always when I start thinking about what’s next.

So what is next?

Haha I ask myself the same question everyday, sometimes multiple times per day. Every day I grow more comfortable with a wrench, and I’m already plenty comfortable with electronics which is making me consider a lot of cars that I wouldn’t have previously.
If I had to buy a “x” car today :
A brand new car - STi Limited
A newish used car - BMW 128i 3 pedal edition
An old car - BMW 2002
A used dad car- Range Rover Sport
A new dad car - Audi Allroad
Then there are always a few cars that I would stretch and sacrifice for, assuming they fall into my lap, wheelhouse, and budget:
997.2
E46M3 coupe
E39M5

It would be hard to pick a car from that lot.
Personally, I’d like something with a turbo for my next DD. Maybe I’ll buy the 135is off my dad.

I’ve kicked around the idea of a 135 as they’re much easier to find with 3 pedals. I know nothing about turbo bimmers which makes me a little uneasy.
