For those keeping score at home, that’s one silver and one maroon PT cruiser to scratch off the list of still-operating vehicles.

A few words before I depart if I may. I appreciate the PT cruiser. I realize that they were cheap and sold reasonably well new, and are even cheaper now filling gaps in transportation for people that need it. As an added bonus, I believe they used the same block as the Neon SRT4 so extra donor parts. However, I thought, and still do think, that they are hideous. It’s so very hard to do retro curvy styling correctly on a modern car and it really didn’t work on the PT either.

I couldn’t tell, but there was a full fire & ambulance crew on scene by the time I drove past. I think they make that routine for all crashes now though.
