Kinja'd!!!

I know some others here have seen some recently where they wouldn’t be expected. I don’t think my son understood my excitement when I asked him to get pictures.

From the comments here, this seems to be sorta common, as some US contractor (presumably near or in Ohio) is preparing these for the UN or the United States gov’t.

Edit (these seem to be built by Battelle, in Columbus)

Does anyone know what rack in the bed is?

The tail lights ruin it.

That would make sense given that they were just a stones throw away from Wright Patterson.

I see a fair amount of these with Mexican tags here in central/south TX. It’s not just the tail lights - they just a mess all around stylistically.

Might be a mid-size truck thing.

Cause the GM twins don’t really pull it off either.

Think it could be trying to give it a “big truck” presence in a smaller scale.

“The Toyota and Ford SUVs and pickup trucks will have various levels of enhanced crew protection, mobility, and operational capabilities. Vehicles will have special armor, suspension, brakes, frames and body reinforcements, as well as infrared lighting, blackout mode, and Special Operations command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) equipment.” From Militaryaerospace.com in July of 2016.
