I’d probably need a bag that’s a lot bigger, as I keep a lot of junk with me.

Planes should have a high quality screen with information from those books already loaded. It’s unacceptable for compact cars to have all the detailed information you need, and a plane that costs millions of dollars to rely on something as ancient as paper.

based on some of the cabin crew I’ve dealt with, I’d say pilots share that around with them.

“sir, sir, SIR, SIR!!!” beginning of every sentence ever on a plane

Couldn’t have put it better myself. You can act like you’re all that, when you’re on the ground or in a single seater, but when you’re responsible for the lives of hundreds of people, you should treat it with just the right amount of seriousness.

You should have seen my father leaving to work 20 years ago, with 10kg worth of Jeppesen in a separate luggage :)

Tablets are quite practical lol

Paper doesn’t short out, get virus’s, run out of battery, or break when you drop it. It’s reliable. Reliability and redundancy are why air travel is so safe.
