I have a 2010 BMW F800ST and it needs a thermostat. Take your best guess at how much this relatively simple, normally inexpensive, part costs.

It’s BMW and a thermostat on my M3 costs $50, so I’m going to say $50.

$57.67, but that doesn’t surprise me since I once helped my mom buy a rear shock for her 650 GS, $500 from BMW, $250 on eBay.

right, $57. I used to work in parts years ago and any thermostat over $20 was thought to be expensive. I always heard complaints about the expense of BMW in the car circles, but after 5 cars I found it to be a bit exaggerated. It seems it’s right true with the Motorrad stuff though.

We had a Suzuki Forenza for a while, and had to put a thermostat in it. Nothing available aftermarket - dealer only item. Thermostat + gasket = $127. One-Hundred-Twenty-Seven-Dollars. I HATED that car...
