Someone posted this on the KC SCCA Facebook page, so naturally several people jumped on it. I mean it’s a few bucks to go flog around a JCW Mini (even if it’s one of the porkier ones) in a format we’re all familiar with, so I figured why not get in on the fun.
Think it’d be in poor taste to show up with the Exocet in a (only partially serious) attempt to get them to shut up about their 3500lb wagon having go-kart-like handling?

I did this in Omaha back in June.. the autocross track was kinda small but it was fun.. I used to own the old clubman then, I kinda liked the older one more.. must have been because of the 700lb weight diff.

Just got back, it was remarkably free of dealership-trying-to-sell-you-the-car nonsense and pretty enjoyable because of it. $10 going to charity for 4 runs at a ~25 sec course in a moderately interesting car was money well spent IMO. I haven’t seen the final results yet, but the organizers think I set the FTD, with 2nd being another KC autocross regular about 0.2 behind.
