Hai!

Just wanna say hi. It’s always a treat when a mod who posts a bit more infrequently stops by.

So, how you liking the car so far?

The ZR1 spoiler on the GS looks quite good.

Hello!

I adore it, I’m totally sold on daily driving a Corvette.

Unpopular opinion, C6 is better looking than the 458.

That is a popular opinion with me.

It’s true, I’ll stop and stare at any thing that’s not a base c6.

458 oh hey a Ferrari, move on

Right there with you - other than perhaps the 458 spider in white, the c6 and especially that Grand Sport is visually superior from an exterior stand point. It looks spectacular in that white and that gunmetal blue/grey color Chevrolet offered it in.

The rear 3/4 on the 458 makes the C6 look like it was drawn by the 5th grader. However, up until then, they each have their ups and downs. They’re both great looking cars, but it’s clear one has larger repair bills. The way the glass curves on the 458's driver/passenger windows for instance.

To me, the C7 has a much more elegant shape than the C6. The way the C pillar arches over into the hatch is really pretty. That said, I have other issues with the C7 - namely the contrasting lines all over the place. Ferrari does a great job of separating performance accents from sculpture - though I think the 488 departed from that a bit.
