Phone case arrived today

Unfortunately, the artist that made the first case really I wanted had discontinued it sometime ago. But I stumbled upon this one online and decided to take a chance.

Quick take: quality of materials seems excellent. Fits perfectly with no slop. Plastic is firm, but not cheap. I’m not the gentlest cell phone owner, so I’m hopeful this case is up the the challenge.

No, but the recess on top of the dash that exists of lieu of the Nav system that the car didn’t come with makes for an excellent shelf for said phone.

Wood veneer cases are where it’s at. Why cover such an amazing piece of design with some gross cheap plastic you have to touch all the time?

I have a Lifeproof Fre battery case - gives the 6S Plus heft and grip, recharges the phone on the fly, and I can drop it in the toilet with abandon.

And of course mine is black. I’m a New Yorker ...
