Get a small bottle of Griot’s waterless car wash for those moments.

Many decades ago I bought a black car, a 1983.5 GTI. Never again, unless I have a garage and someone to wash the car for me.

I will second the use of waterless car wash. I keep a bottle around for touch ups, and it works amazingly well. I hate shopping at Walmart, but they frequently have Mother’s or Meguiar’s (sp) on a special purchase for $8/bottle. Too bad I feel like I’m selling my soul when I do it, but I justify it by also getting some Manhattan Clam Chowder, because this is the only place that sells it...

Poorboys Bird Shit remover. I always kept a spray bottle and two MF cloths in a ziplock for cleaning up random bird bombs.

Sorry, but no. I’ve been going to this particular restaurant since I was a mere toddler, 40+ years ago. When I was in college I would stop in for a cup after surfing and before going home to study, sometimes studying in the restaurant if it wasn’t busy (which wasn’t often as the lines wrap around the block during summer). Thanks to this spot, Manhattan chowder was ingrained in my mind as to what chowder should be. Having a cup was on my must-do list when I went back home last month, and this place was the first stop after getting off the plane. Lots of good memories contained in that little bowl of soup. It may not be typical clam chowder to most, but it’s a bowl of happiness to me.
