I'm struggling to dislike the 2018 Mustang now

It’s not great, bad, or ugly to me. It’s just good. Ford should’ve started with photos like these when they first released press photos. Less awkward angles and more dynamic.

Not an improvement, it’s just a change.

Still has some awkward angles but overall isn’t bad. I give the pre-facelift a 9/11, and the facelift an 8.5/11.

Definitely a change and not an improvement. The original is a truly stunning design. The changes (which I assume only affect the hood and the front clip, not the quarterpanels) do nothing to improve the design, only differentiate it as “older”.

I think both versions look great from the outside. It was the inside that let me down when I test drove one. I thought it would feel special somehow, and it just...didn’t. :|

The wing is really, really bad IMO. I hate wings with “supports” that aren’t just race wings. I really like the bumper, and while I’m not a huge fan of the headlights at the fender I think they’re fine. The new taillights look really good in person. The hood though, ugh. The little “bumps” ahead of the vents are really ugly. I wish it just had a GT350 hood.

Overall the 2015-2017 is more cohesive.

I’m gonna need to see the 2018 in Triple Yellow in person before I make a decision...

That color would look great on a Saab Sonett.
