Owned a yellow Volvo 142 in the early 80s. Shitty little door lock worked with a small key that might as well have been a screwdriver. Put the key in, sat down, noticed a different smell, looked down, and saw ... an automatic transmission. Mine was a 4 speed. That was not my car.

We own 3 vehicles. an 07 Milan, an 08 Jeep Commander (lifted) and an 82 Mercury Capri.
It’s an odd stable.
Sure I’m in Michigan so there are more Mercury vehicles per capita than probably any where in the country, but every year Mercury is gone they become more rare.
I don’t think I’ve ever parked right next to another silver V6 base Milan in the entire time I’ve owned it.
