What a crappy two months this has been. First hurricane Harvey, then Irma, then the vegas shooting, then Tom Petty died, and now my ex just ended it with me and told me she was cheating on me. Also there is a possible hurricane due to hit Tampa the day I fly out so the world can go f itself

Well if she was cheating, then she can fuck off anyways. Always the cheaters fault, 100% of the time. So at least you have done nothing wrong in that case! Hurricanes are out of your control, along with everything else there. I tend to get caught up in all that crap too until I focus on just the things I have control or input on. Those are the things to stress and worry about.
Things like why havent I fixed that on my car yet? How am I supposed to fix that? What am I doing and why arent I moved to California yet? Even though everything has a plan and is going smoothly, I still stress about it since I know I could always do more.

This...I would know as I was the cheater once. It’s never your fault for the crime committed against you, and there’s no excuse for it.
If the offending party has any conscience (like myself) they won’t be able to forgive themselves for it even if you forgive them on the spot like my ex did for me. My self-imposed punishment is never dating again.
At any rate, *hugs* OP. Your heart will hurt for some time but you should eventually triumph better than ever!
