Basically, if you have VIP you will be getting the following:
“1 Million Credits.”

Also, “The quality of the PC experience will continue to be a top priority.” I know that the PC quality stuff might be PR talking, but it’s still nice to hear them say that they’ll be improving it.

Based on the Microsoft store:
If you own either the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you own VIP.
If you own the regular $60 Forza 7 game, VIP is a $20 download.

I mean, mods on the official Forza forums were straight up deleting posts about this game that cast it in a negative light, the sub reddit r/Forza made a bot to automatically delete negative posts about his game and major gaming sites, like Kotkau picking up that Microsoft changed the fact that VIP status was limited use after people had paid money since they assumed it was permanent, it’s no surprise they caved.

You know what, I’ll be honest. I’m not by any stretch of the imagination struggling for credits or lacking in cars on Forza 7. If I wasn’t told, I wouldn’t of noticed just like I didn’t even notice that the VIP bonus was missing. Forza is still too generous.

My main gripe with the Forza series 3 onwards is that credits are utterly meaningless. Either abolish the system or go back to Forza 2 system where they were really important the auction house was a god send.

Why? I love swimming in credits!
I play Forza to escape and live out my car fantasies. IRL I do not have unlimited funds and a garage filled with the rarest, most awesome cars.
Your life must be so utterly devoid of struggle that you’re honestly trying to escape that by making a video game into what sounds like work; a tiresome and endless grind for a pittance.
If credits are that much of an issue, then buy the most expensive car in the game, then delete it from your garage. Your credits will magically disappear!
(Read the above with heavy sarcasm. I am not trying to personally attack you. But for real, I don’t want Forza to be work. I already have a job. It mostly sucks. I’d like to enjoy my escape from the drudgery.)

Nah I fully get that Forza is just billionaire racing enthusiast simulator for the vast majority of people but at this point I’m just want some progression in Forza.
Now I’m not saying (although I would love to) that they should go back to a Forza 2 style economy where buying a supercar took several days worth of racing or just an extremely lucky catch on the auction house but don’t give me a McLaren F1 or a Classic F1 car straight off the bat.

I appreciate the VIP reward cars. I would be happy with just the 2X credit bonus.
If they do insist on giving us cars for free, then let us choose. If people want ‘the best car in the game’ immediately, then let them have it. If others want to get some shitboxes and build them up to supercar killers, then they also get the freedom to do so.
I just want the freedom to play how I want to. Their constant increase of restriction on when we are deemed worthy of buying cars in the game grates. I am not against only being allowed to use cars in races until we progress in the career mode. What infuriates me is that I have plenty of money and want to buy the 1 ///M. I can’t. It’s “Exclusive Content”. Bullshit. Let me fucking buy the damn car I want so I can use it when I race my friends, assholes.

I’m having no issue generating cars or credits either. My issue is what did I spend $100 for? Especially with how the VIP rewards were explained before they sneakily changed the description.

I tried to make some of them slightly more...uhm unique (ex: the Camaro ZL-1, the ATS-V and I think one of the Mercs get a few more degrees of steering lock to help really nail those reverse entry drifts) but they are for the most part, what they are. Which is basically widebody/bonus points.
