As I was leaving the gym last night, this wacky contraption was out front. After I took a couple pictures, one of the racquetball league guys walked out the front door carrying a helmet. I asked if the trike was his. It was, and yes, that’s a VW engine in back, and he built it himself. I told him it was way cool.

These are a thing. I saw one in Delaware a couple weeks ago that looks like some sort of kit-bike.

I’ve worked on one and had a chance to drive it. It’s a miserable idea
