OK, so is TMZ is walking back their earlier report that Tom Petty was dead? CBS and NBC are both saying there’s conflicting reports, and that he may still be on life support.

Yeah, LAPD is “clarifying” that they have no info, despite earlier reports.

CBS is saying he was found last night not breathing, which, yeah, not good.
