Over the weekend my friend took over DD duties at a party and let my Camry’s driver door slam into our friend’s very-new Impreza. He agreed to pay for the damages to the other guy’s car and I gave him shit for it.
His fee-fees were hurt and I had to “apologize” for hurting them even though he never apologized for damaging my car because saying that you’ll pay for the damages to the other guy’s car meant I was supposed to drop the subject and never speak of it again. It’s not the end of the world, just a pretty nasty gash along the door edge.
Would it be appropriate to ask him to not charge me utilities for this month or take a % off? It’s mainly an “asshole charge” if anything.
