I’m never the fastest on course, but my runs are always within a second of each other. I just have to figure out how to get over that hump and I’ll be good.

Consistiency was my story until I managed to put an absolute flyer in on my last run. I was still last in class but I was 1.2s last instead of 2.4+s last.

I fixed consistency by going to nationals and realizing I’m slow. Now I know I should be faster and I’ve been able to squeeze out faster runs instead of just ripping off the same times over and over.

The key for me has been understanding courses better and planning ahead. There are times where slow is fast and that’s really odd and tricky with autox.

I do video my runs, though it always takes me a while to get back to watching them.

Most people seem to suggest the same stuff over and over, and none of that makes any difference in my runs. When Jacob Crow comes back out I will...
