Kinja'd!!!

Drove past the local FCA dealership after dinner and...  what’s that doing there?

The underbody looked pristine & the interior looked very gently used.

Kinja'd!!!

Even the fact that it came from the South doesn’t explain its perfect condition. Did Wheeler Dealers ever do a Buick Skylark? ;)

Had an ‘81 - ghost steering was an issue, and I wrecked it on an on ramp when the steering went out. It was a temperamental piece of shit. Failed engine mounts, shit electricals, brakes from a Flintstone car. Awful.

A pristine X-body is still an X-body. No thanks.

I had a Pontiac Phoenix and it was utter shit.

Oh, I have no love or desire at all for this thing. It’s just interesting to see a used, 1980's sedan in showroom condition.

My sister had an ‘84 Buick Century in high school. While steering didn’t seem to be a problem, it did come down with the death squeal that a lot of this era’s GMs seemed to get.

Since this was at Chrysler dealership, I want to believe a couple of little old nuns traded this in for a Hellcat.

I’m thinking that’s an ‘83, because they did a very minor refresh right around that time ... but it’s still a piece of shit.

Boone is in the mountains. There are cars there that have been in NC their whole lives rusted like they came from Buffalo.

Well, it’s a Dodge dealership, it isn’t rare to see shiny turds there.

You should snap it up and rent it out as a movie car. That thing is a timewarp.

Sometimes I get my Smith era GM cars confused - were these the ones with the rear windows that didn’t roll down, or the ones that would totally lock their wheels and lose all control under heavy braking?
