Took the Miata up a traffic free Skyline blvd and enjoyed carving corners at ridiculous entry speeds. Although the tires are incredible, I miss being able to powerslide every u-turn :(

This is why I’ve waited so long to replace my bald tires. After over a year with gobs of grip, it’s nice being able to slide around corners again

Yeah...I wish I could have the best of both worlds-grip in corners, power induced oversteer whenever. I imagine that’s how it must be like in the 86 twins on real rubber. I’m probably not going to buy such serious tires the next time around. And it may just force me into getting gold enkei RPF1s because theres no performance tire choices for the stock wheel other than this Direzza star spec.
