I’ve learned to stop car shopping after a car purchase. There’s always gonna be that one car listed a couple months later that you wish you could’ve had.

The thing is, I really like both of my cars. I’m very happy with both of them and have no intention of getting a new one anytime soon. I’m just always car shopping for some reason.
I did quit looking for M3s for a while after I got mine, because I didn’t really get the color I wanted. So if one had popped up in the perfect color, I wouldn’t have know. Ignorance is bliss.

I’m not really a fan of black interiors, so naturally the 3 cars I’ve bought have had black interiors.

I actually use my sunroof, so I like it. I will say, if I was buying it new I’d skipped that option and used the $1050 to get the HK sound system.

Same for me. I’m always very happy with my car but looking at Craigslist every day you’re bound to find one in a better color/mileage/options eventually for about the same price.
Even worse is if you have Craigslist alerts still set for a car you bought and one comes up immediately after. Happened with my 4Runner.

I mean, my 328i was a one owner car with a lot of options with only 40k on it. I literally could not find another one anywhere in the US. I’ve seen a couple newer ones, but they’re either half way across the country or are over 20k.
15k one owner M3s really don’t exist out there, and if they do they’re the same price I paid for my car 3 years ago. It actually makes me feel better about my M3 when I car search.

If it didn’t have the sunroof, I’d be all for this. After getting my Mini without a sunroof, I don’t want to give up the headroom in a fixed head car anymore.
Of course, I have the bike and the Z4 if I need additional sun.

I don’t think you lose much head room at all with the sunroof. I do yearn for a drop top, but I’m not selling either of my cars.

I’m 6'3" (or there abouts). Trust me, when you are that tall, you want every darn inch you can get.
It only gets tighter if you have a helmet on, too. That half inch (or so) the sunroof gets? Yeah, that’s where my helmet goes.
