What are some good consumer obd2 readers available? One that’s preferably a standalone unit amd not blutooth. Is Ancel a good brand?

I’ve got one from Harbor Freight that’s really good. Find yourself a 20% off coupon and go nuts.

Harbor Freight’s is good for the money. I have a Mac Tools one that I got about 10 years ago that does better than most of the newer simple readers. There’s a small blue one we have at work that’s damn quick and very easy to use, I don’t remember the brand though.

The Launch CReader series is pretty full featured for the money. I have a V+ (I think) and I’m happy with it. Innova and Actron are slightly more industry standard for independent shops and you pay for that.
