but drunk canoeing is best canoeing... hell.. in general i thought boating was a thing not done sober
that said over here you can lose your license for cycling drunk (wich i dont do.. nope never.. not even when i cycle past you with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other)

my drunk ass tried to get away from the cops by swimming to england..
when i emerged from my epic swim and crawled up the embankment... the cops were waiting for me.... turns out it was just a ditch... not the north sea

Huh, my coworker (a former RCMP officer) and I were just talking about this a few days ago.
Fun fact: if your bicycle has some form of motor assistance (such as an electric motor), you can be charged with a DUI as it meets the criteria for the law.
