Cringy if your first language is German but still a neat little touch.

This appears to be on a W111/112 fintail. These were dealer-installed systems, as MBs were not available with factory air at this time. Other systems can be branded Behr or Arctic-Kar. I once had a parts car offered to me with one of these systems, but was still a student then and didn’t have a place to keep it. This was an under-dash system (I think Arctic-Kar was trunk mounted).

My car has accessory bumper guards, which were marketed under the “Gardmeister” name. They really played on the German link, even with the font.

Kinja'd!!!

On a similar note, this was the same sticker I had on the back of my ‘77 Dasher wagon. Best air conditioner ever. It’s not like I could roll down the windows; mom had some massive speakers put in when she bought it and the window cranks had to be replaced with the same small knobs as the vent windows. That meant no drive thru restaurants for me, a tradition that continues 35 years later despite having many other cars since with windows that were easier to roll down.

It is indeed a Fintail! Good attention to detail...though I wouldn’t expect anything else from someone whose Kinja name is literally fintail.
