Drove one of these on a lap of Iceland having booked the cheapest (ha ha) car I could find. Walked to the hire place and saw this tiny red car outside. Thought to myself: “I’m not getting that am I?”. I was. It was the most basic car I’ve driven in a long time with windy up windows and manual everything. The annoying thing was the lack of intermittent wipers which you soon miss in Iceland....

people can’t afford new cars anymore. Every new car available here is a luxury car or a muscle car and a donk. It would be quite popular in the so-called “uber economy”
