Visiting New Orleans for the weekend. Went to a restaurant my wife likes, found that they have an unusual option for a place to sit. Thought that Oppos would like it. Unfortunately it was already taken.
The place is very down to earth but with great food. I enjoyed my gumbo.
Not in the French quarter!

I have a buddy down that way. He’s not in NO proper but close. Good people.
Weird question. Did you try a crab boiled peanut?

If offered you should. It’ll change the way you think of Peanuts. It’s not really a Louisana thing but it is. It’s weird, and good.

Living in the south, I’ve had boiled peanuts. Did not like them. I suspect that this is pretty similar, but with crab. Am I right?
