For some reason this game has had a tremendous amount of hype and I dont get it. Is it just how beautiful it is?

Yes and no. The style is the main draw but it’s backed up by top-notch gameplay. Controls are weighted well and feel natural, and the boss battles are nothing if not creative. The difficulty rampsup fast. You’ll die over and over again but they’ve made a game that’s so fun that you don’t get mad when it happens.
