And then on the 29th day of the month, magically have 2 cops start enforcing the artificially low 30 mph speed limit on the road by my house... I mean c’mon. Be more subtle then that.

Of course they do. Last time I got stopped, the guy even told me that he would give me the warning I asked for, but he was specifically assigned there that day to pull in some tickets.

Granted this probably isn’t true everywhere. But from what I’ve heard from a few cops, they don’t have official quotas it’s just more of “WTF have you been doing if you’ve only given out 2 tickets this month?” Kind of thing.

I am not claiming that I am innocent or that it’s the cop’s fault, but ALL of my speeding tickets in last 6 years have been the last 5 days of the month.
I haven’t had a lot. But I have had a pretty consistent route the last 6 years.
It only happened when I forgot it was the last week of the month and was doing slightly more than posted limits.

You just made me look up what has luckily been the only ticket I’ve ever had (Ontario insurance rates are bad enough already)...

And naturally, I haven’t seen a cop in that spot since. Or prior, if I’m honest.

They say they don’t have quotas, but then I see a Georgia State Patrolman sitting on the LEFT HAND SHOULDER (which is about two feet narrower than the right, and can BARELY hold a car, let alone a car with a door open and a laser gun pointed down the toll lane) running speed on the HOT lane on I-85N.
I mean, that’s only about two feet of clearance between his cruiser and the passing cars.
Hope the ticket was worth it for him...

Granted I did see this exact same situation(thought I got tagged) 2 weeks ago when I drove through. Georgia State Patrol just suck. I treat Georgia kind of like Virginia but I do speed once I’m in Atlanta because I know every cruiser is occupied by the barrage of accidents.
