In some ways even cooler than the Euro.
We should be less conservative with the design of our money. It may be a dream, but I dream to find no more dead presidents on the money, when I return in the US.
I would totally love this, but the designs of the 1 and 100 would need to change, because as much as I like BHO and FDR, they are dead/future dead presidents.

It’d be hilarious or depressing to see how Murkan money would be re-designed in these idiocratic days of MAGA.
Swiss money is fun - the coins are an antique design, and the folding money is modern looking. And you never know what might be backing it - laundered North Korean gold, old Nazi hoards, tax-dodging corporations, could be anything.

That will be a moot point soon, as Sweden will adopt the Euro sooner rather than later.
One of my new contacts who works for a local Spanish bank tells me that the EU will pressure the member states, who for some reason didn’t switch to the Euro yet, to adopt the unified currency by 2025.
As you can see, there’s only a few states left.
So, keep a few Kronas around, if you like them.
