Dimmer wire connection tightened (yellow arrow).

Moment of truth........it works!

Kinja'd!!!

Remarkably, reinstalling everything was much easier than the disassembly. The connectors just went click, click, click as opposed to fumbling around with locking tabs and lacking sufficient hand manoeuvring room. Having done it once now, doing it again would be much quicker.

I think I’ve been let off easy this time. Phew!! Good night all.

Can’t help you with the drink, but I can give you a star.

This car is the subject of 90% of my posts here, just sayin’!

Thankfully, that awful steering wheel had a very short life in the Ferrari parts bin. It was their first Airbag-equipped model.

The F355 was the only Ferrari that had that steering wheel for practically its entire lifespan (except 1994 non-US cars).

The 456GT pre-M cars also had this wheel, but the 456M went to a much more attractive 3-spoke design.
