And since old Japanese cars appear to have been banned here, this is the best I have.to offer until I get home. I like these things, and the green and yellow is iconic

Ooh, is there an exhibit on how they won’t allow you to repair your own machine?

Did they at least allow you to take a combine for a spin?

Dad learned to drive on a Model B back in in N Dakota, been a Deere man since, (has a lovely bright green riding lawnmower now.)

Old Japanese cars are not banned in the Midwest, they just don’t exist anymore. They have long since evaporated, and returned to the earth.

My mom’s first new car was a ‘72 Datsun B210. It was only nine years old when the strut towers collapsed. My dad found the car laying on its right side rocker panel one morning.

Trucks like Zoidberg’s longbed, 25 years ago I would see them rattling around town with either a bed so rusty that the bottom half of the quarter panels were simply gone, or they’d have a homemade wooden flatbed.

If you ever come back in the winter, you’ll see why. Salt salt everywhere.
