My Seattle vacation is just about over, and things have fallen together such that I’m going to take a look at this on my way home from Logan Airport tomorrow morning.
If I can agree on a price with the seller, I’ll need to do some creative accounting to make it work. Basically, I’ll definitely have to sell my Yukon (good news) and possibly have to part out my red Miata (bad news), but that doesn’t bother me because as you can see, the vehicle I’d acquire is AN ISUZU GOD DAMN VEHICROSS.
So I’d give up the shitty Yukon and a shitty Miata, but I’d have what might amount to my 2-car budget dream garage in the Vehicross and ‘93 Miata. Even if the Vehicross needs a transmission, which I can source locally, it’s a really good price. Also, it’s a Vehicross, so I want it quite badly.

That’s literally the deal. They look cool. So as a halo vehicle, they draw in prospective buyers, whom can be upsold on other vehicles in the showroom because only 10,000 of these exist but you can leave with a Rodeo today, sir. Otherwise they’re basically Troopers.

It’s basically a funky looking 2 door Trooper with Isuzu’s great Torque-On-Demand system. The Cruiser is a good allegory, they’re both capable off readers who mainly trade on their appearance. Also rarity, they only did about 4000 of them over 3-4 years.

There’s nothing else that looks like it. I saw one a guy did in a flat-satin camo green and it looked so cool with the plastic trim. I think I’d go desert tan myself.

Wow, that will be one of the most oppo vehicles on here if you pick it up. I actually had a lead on a great cheap vehicross when I got my 02 4runner and since it rusted out in a year I really wish I had pulled the trigger on the isuzu.
