My dimmer switch may have a loose connection, as my interior dash and centre console lights have gone out to lunch again. So I spent an hour getting the gauge pod out of the car.

Some of those connectors are maddeningly tricky to disconnect, and I ended up with throbbing thighs and shaking calves.

The gauges were made by Veglia Borletti, an Italian instrument maker that has been owned by the Magneti Marelli conglomerate since 1987.

I’ve tightened a few things—indeed, the dimmer switch had one line slightly loose—but we’ll see if that does the trick.

Pretty much, I feel like I could do an engine-out now!

“throbbing thighs and shaking calves”

Did you forget to move some “tools” from the seat before working on your car?

That’s a stretch (......), but I did check and still a bro, bro.

Also: That pic looks more like road rage than anything else.
